Do i wait for another or go for this guy?

so there is this guy i have know since 5th grade. we kinda have this ierd relatinship because we liked each other in 5th and 6th grade so you know you dont really go out but just are all nice to each ohter and whatever. well anyways he became best friends with my guy friends so now being in 9th grade we are just like really good friends. well he is a really big man and goes out with any girl he can get his hands onto and has practically had with this girl that he was going out with for 1 month. so everyone says he likes me and when we are texting he calls me like sweety and babe and stuff like that and his sister really wants me to g out ith him. well the problem is idk if i like him because i liked him from 5-8 grde but have finally moved on or at least i thought i did. my best friend and all of my friends would hate me if i ever went out with him cause he has made his rounds with them too but i think i like him. he is all i can think about and i cant stand not seeing him. so the other problem is that i hardly ever have bfs i have had lke 2 in my life nd have never had my first kiss. some of my friends are saying that i am too scared to be in a relatinship so i really want to be in one. soo do i go out with this guy or do i wait and try to move on?????????????????????
