Im not biting but is it ok to sound like your lil wayne?

i rap and i write my lyrics all tha time.i find myself using alot of punchlines,i use that more than i do metaphors.idk why i do it,i just think it sounds madd hotter if my lyrics sounded like that,now dont me wrong,my ryhmes do make sense and i tell a story.im not trying to be lke weezy.the only thing is that im asking is it okay if i sound like weezy usin lots of punchlines.i feel comfortable writng like that.it gives me more confidence in my flow.i dont wanna be a biter tho.or people look at me as one,please positive answers guys
