Is The Edge from U2 a good guitarist??

edge has always admitted that he is the master of getting the best sound the easy way. you get guitarists who look good going up and down the fret board but what counts is what it sounds like! weather you like it or not u2 have been the number 1 band in the world for the last 25 years! so edge must be doing something right!
