Will 50% of a heterozygous individual's gametes have a recessive allele?

Meiosis is what makes gametes so let me try to apply that concept in order to answer this question. A heterozygous individual would have, lets say, the alleles Tt. In meiosis 1, the logous chromosomes split. So there would be one cell with T and another cell with t. In meiosis 2, the cell would just duplicate. So 2 T and 2 t cells. And if my reasoning is correct, then the answer should be yes, 50% will have a recessive allele.
