Sticky wedding situation?

ask her to be in charge of throwing your bridal shower or bachlorette party then she can still feel like she is part of it. invite the father for sure and then of course in invite her. if she asks just let her know you kinda had to pick family or something when you answer act like its not a big deal then she wont think it is
